The DL-TS3600 is a new jacking tower system designed and supplied by DLT Engineering to Sinopec Tenth Construction Company in China. The tower system has a gross lifting capacity of 3600 tonnes in two tower configuration and 7200 tonnes in four tower configuration. The main features of this tower system are as follows :
2-tower and 4-tower, guyed and free standing configuration options
DL-CP600 pinned climbing jacks used for lifting. 600 tonnes lifting capacity per jack. Each tower can be fitted with two or three of these jacks.
All components designed for transport in standard shipping containers
3600 tonne capacity lifting beam spans between a pair of towers and is lifted with the load, removing the need to erect and dismantle this beam at height and avoiding a large wind sail at the top of the tower in the out-of-service storm wind condition.
Self-erect and dismantle option, with the 11.85m long fully assembled tower sections being inserted and removed at the bottom of the towers
DL-P40 central computer control of all jacking systems for accurate monitoring and synchronisation. This control system has many automatic functions included, including overload protection and full data logging.
Vessel can be moved longitudinally and transversely after lifting.
Vessel can be rotated after lifting using an optional 360 degree swivel.
During December 2018 Sinopec No. 10 successfully erected a 2450 tonnes vessel (130m height and 9.2m diameter) using the DL-TS3600 tower system designed and supplied by DLT Engineering.
Erection of first vessel in February 2016 using a U-frame lifting beam. Tower height = 90m. vessel height = 120 m. vessel weight = 2520 tonnes.
